Dr. Caroline
Oeben, Veterinarian/Owner
When she
was 7 years old, Dr. Oeben heard a faint meow behind some
bushes as she was playing in her backyard. There she found
2 tiny kittens and their mother, all of whom had just survived
a flood. The black kitten became her first pet cat, Skipper,
who lived to the ripe old age of 15. (His brother went to
her second grade teacher and their mother, Midnight, remained
as a contented backyard pet). Thus began Dr. Oeben’s
life-long fascination with cats which has culminated in the
founding of her own practice, The Cat Doctor.
A lover
of cats her entire life, Dr. Oeben cannot imagine living without
these furry friends!
Dr. Oeben
received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M
University in 1998. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and is a
member of Phi Zeta Veterinary Honor Society. As a senior student,
